The RCXD

I'm back and I'm going to talk about the RCXD from Black Ops. To describe it, it is a remote control car with a C4 on the back of it. You can only get it when you get 2 or 3 kills depending on your perks or in a care package. I think it is good in combat training because the difficulty that I train on is hardened and they travel in packs. Hardened is kind of hard. On a some maps there are little holes in the maps and only RCXDs can get through to get to around the map. I would use the RCXD instead of spy plane because you get kills instead of seeing red dots on your little map in the corner of your screen. The bad part is that it is timed because on the back you will see a green dot and when you hear beeps rapidly that means you are almost done with you killstreak. Oh and I almost forgot, if you press your left bumper for the Xbox 360 controller you boost or speed up. Well this is it. See yah!

Predators

I'm back and I'm going to talk about predators.  It is not an animal predator, it is an alien predator.  I will be telling you what their weapons  later.  Well I like them because they are skilled hunters,  they look cool, and (they do this in the movie PREDATORS 2010) they will hunt us like we hunt deer.  They are equipped with plasma caster, proximity mines, combi stick,  dual knives,  and with his knife disk it will bounce off the walls.  His helmet has heat vision for the humans, and the xenomorph highlighter vision for the alien.  I think the coolest helmet would be the falconer predator or the elder predator or the hunter.  I can't tell which one is the coolest.  The ''Elder Predator'' can be found and played in the game Aliens Vs Predator 3 you can play him at level 43 I think.  In the movie ''PREDATORS 2010''  the Tracker Predator calls in his Predator Dogs in the first part so that was pretty cool because they have horns coming out of their skin.  The Falconer Predator has a robotic spying bird that flies around to see where the humans are.  Okay the best part of this blog is that there are two kinds of predators.  The classic predators and the hunting predators.  The hunting predators are only seen in the movie PREDATORS 2010 and the tracker and falconer predators are the main predators in the movie.  Now as you can see in the picture that is the classic predator with his plasma caster.  The name of the predator rank is ''Wolf''.  That is about it. What I want be when I grow up

When I grow up I want to be a tarantula/spider scientist.  I picked it because I now a lot about them and I have strong interest in them.  I think I would be good because I know a lot about them.


MY FIRST DAY ON THE JOB.

Wow that was awesome of how I caught 37 samples to show the other guys at the lab.  It was hard because it was so dark on the forest floor.  Catching the Goliath was hard because it kept  throwing it's hair at me!  Here is the weird part, I was attacked by 49 jumping spiders! (I disturbed their queen. I found this out later in the day.)
I only took one because they were all the same.  After two weeks I went to Colorado.  After hours of looking I found a nest of Camel Spider nest under the floor boards in a barn.  I found it because I heard tapping under the floor.  Well that is what I want to be when I grow up, and my first day on the job.

Shuttle Lands In Air Base

Space shuttle Endearour lands safely Sunday afternoon at California's Edwards Air Force Base after NASA waved off two opportunities for a Florida landing because of poor weather.  The shuttle, steered by Christopher Ferguson landed at 1:25 p.m., ending a mission that lasted two weeks.

BLACK OPS ZOMBIES

Hey I'm back with my favorite game mode of Call Of Duty: Black Ops. It is... ZOMBIES.  That's right I said zombies. It is better than the World At War version.  The makers brought back some guns from World At War, like the MP40, The Ray gun, the Magnum( but they changed the name to the Python), the STG44, the Mosenagant,  and I think they took out the Wonerwaffe DG-2 and replaced it with the Thunder gun. The Wonderwaffe DG-2 is better though.  The point to Nazi Zombies is to hold off the endless hordes of zombies.  There are three maps to choose from.  The one you start out with is Kino Der Tonen.  On round one you start out with the colt.  It is a pistol that you can Pack-A-Punch in World At War and it will be a grenade launcher.  Anyway you need good guns to get more points, kills, and moving up rounds.  Another map is ''FIVE''.  It takes place in the white house with  John F. Kennedy!!  It is what I think is the hardest because it is so big!  It has 2 elevators that works!  When you get to the lab floor there will be air shafts then you might want to go back down the elevator because that is when the aliens come and when you kill them they explode and a gas comes out and when you walk into it you can barely see out of your screen.  So it stay a good distance away but a good distance to kill them also.  OK I'm going to talk about the third map.  The third map is called DEAD OPS ARCADE.  It is a blast of the past!  Why I say that is because it is a map because it is a combination of the old arcade feeling and the opening of the level is all like the old arcade system.  So it's the same game but your guy is on the ground and you control him in the air, like Halo Wars. Most of the guns are rapid fire, including the rocket launchers.  When you get to this one point there is like a robo gorilla or something, that can kill you if you touch him.  Well this wraps just about everything.  Bye.

My Teacher

Hey it is me again and I'm going to talk about my teacher Dan Orlano.  He's a pretty nice guy.  He coaches basketball, track, and football.  He can get a little upset about some things sometimes.  He is 25 years old. His favorite subject in school is math.  He is a good teacher to have because he plays songs while we work sometimes and he likes to goof around and he does things other teachers usually don't do.  If I had lunch with him I would ask him if he had apple salad.  It is a mixture of whipped cream, apples , and snickers.  I would tell him that I almost died because of diabetes.  Here is why, I'm 1 out f 4 that had it really bad  and I'm the only one that made out alive.  So that was scary.  I had no idea of what was going on.  If my brother was going into Mr. Orlano's class I would tell him some advice like not to scratch his agenda.

Scatman John

Hey It's me again and I'm going to talk about this guy's nickname as Scatman John.  He had a tough childhood.   It was his stuttering that made his life kinda hard.  He struggled for years as a jazz artist.  He stuttered ever since could talk.  So it was hard for him.  When he was 12 he learned how to play the piano.  He became a professional jazz artist in the 80's and 70's.  His first album was  Scatman (Ski Ba  Bop Ba Dop Bop). Later on he was diagnosed with lung cancer and was sent into intensive treatment.  He died in his Los Angeles home on December 3, 1999.  Well there is a good jazz artist that I look up to.

Diabetes

Hey it's me and I'm going to talk to you about diabetes.  Diabetes is a disease that I will have for the rest of my life.  It is not very fun to be exact.  What happens is the pancreas does not make this stuff called insulin to help the body with the blood sugar.   Insulin is this watery stuff that that works with the blood sugar.  Since the pancreas isn't working you have to do it.  To deliver insulin into the body  you can use the pen, the pump that is what I use, and  the shot.  I think the pump is the best instead of 5 needles a day, 1 needle every three days.  What I mean by that is the pump has a plastic tube that feels like a needle and it is supposed to stay on you for three days.  Then you take that one off and put on a new one.  It may cost more but it is worth it.  I used all of them but for some reason the pen hurt more than the others.  To test your blood you need a blood glucose meter, a finger pricker, and test strips.  First you put a test strip in the meter , then you prick your finger , then there will be blood do NOT wipe it off yet you put as much blood as you can into the strip, the meter will have a number on it and that is blood sugar.  What else ,what else oh yes I almost forgot.  There are a a lot of finger prickers and blood test meters. I have the pump link.  It is wireless so when I test my blood the number will read to my pump.  I kinda cheated death.  I'll tell you how.    I was the only one that had it really bad and made it out alive.  So I kind of cheated death.  Well this is it. The Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula

Hey guys it's me again  and as you can see I'm going to talk about the Goliath Bird  Eating tarantula.  The Goliath bird eating tarantula is the biggest kind of tarantula in the world.  It can grow up the size of a dinner plate!  You can find it of the northern part of South America.  It can pick off it's hairs and throw them at whatever scared it.  I forgot to tell you this was going to be short.  So this is it. See yah!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving means a lot to me because you get to be with your family you don't see much.  And have a big breakfast or lunch.  I'm thankful for everything that happened to me in the past.  I can;t tell you all but I'll tell you one and that is diabetes.  It is not fun at all.  It is something that I'll have for the rest of my life. I'll tell you I hate it.  I'll make a separate blog about diabetes.   But back to the Thanksgiving stuff.  It is a real family holiday.  Whoever does not celebrate Thanksgiving, that is just sad.On Thanksgiving my family and I eat mashed potatoes, turkey , ham and sometimes soup.  It is a happy time for me because I get to be with my family.  Well this is it so have a good Thanksgiving!!!

Spiders pt 1

Hey it's me again if you have not read my jumping spider blog you better read it before this one.

So I'm going to talk about spiders a lot because I really like them so you will see a lot of blogs on my profile about spiders OK enough about that so quick fact the biggest spider is the Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula.  Now on the facts.  Crab spiders are my favorite spider they change their color to blend in with their surroundings and they move side to side. Like a crab! Is that cool?  I think it is , anyway a crab spider is sitting on a flower and a  bee lands on it the crab spider then SNAP the crab spider bites the bee's neck injects it's venom the venom turn the bee's insides into fluid the spider drinks the fluid then pushes the dead body off the flower and waits for it's next victim or prey.  Now we move on to the wolf spider.  Wolf spiders are really fast and where you will find them are North America and Europe.  They have two big eyes and some burrow or make tubes in the ground.  Oh I just about forgot to tell you about the differences between a insect and a spider.  Well they are pretty much the same except spiders have 8 legs not 6 and 2 main body parts instead of 3 OK here is a cool fact about spiders some copy insects!  But be careful when you touch hem to be safe touch it with a stick.Well this is the end of this blog.  Part 2 is coming soon!

The Jumping Spiders

Hi it Tanner again so now I'm going to talk about spiders now you might be thinking ew spiders are stupid little gross things we don't want around our house well you are wrong they are actually good and help full because they eat unwanted bugs.  But back to the story I forgot to name the kind didn't I .....  that's a little embarrassing.  Anyway the spider I'm talking about is the jumping spider.  Okay right off the bat a fact that that I think is weird the jumping spider has no special muscle to jump.  Weird huh?  OK do not I repeat do not get insects mixed up with spiders I'll tell you why later.  So my second favorite fact about the jumping spiders are how they make their egg sac.   OK to start off she makes a bowl then she lays her eggs in it then she covers it then she waits two to three weeks then then they hatch.  then the mother usually dies right when they hatch but when they hatch they cut a hole in it they come out so they are really hungry they try to get some thing and if they are really really hungry they eat each other.  Weird huh?  So you know how I said "don't get insects mixed up with spiders" well here's why,  you might see a beetle but it's really a black widow.  Oh did you know that the black widow is the most poisonous spider in north America. Invertebrates

Hi my name is Tanner and this is going to be about invertebrates.  Okay so if you don't know what invertebrates are they are animals with out backbones so now you know.  But back to the story.  The most simple invertebrate is the sponge.  Now you may think you have something that soaks up all the water that is in your kitchen but we are not talking about that one so where was I oh yes now I remember the animal sponge yes they're usually found on rocks or other spots in the ocean.  Oh did I tell you if a sponge gets it's let's say it's leg cut off it will grow it back, cool huh. Now enough about sponges lets move to stinging celled animals like the jelly fish and it only has one openings and it only has one opening the mouth and it is surrounded by tentacles that sting it's food.  Next in line is the flatworm.  It may live in the hosts body as a parasite.  Oh did I tell you that flatworms have long flat bodies.  They have one opening for taking in food plus getting rid of wastes.  Flatworms are way more complex than stinging celled animals.  Some flatworms are scavengers.  If you don't know what scavengers are they are animals that do anything  to supply water or food.   Okay now we are going on to roundworms.   Roundworms have bodies that are not flat. Now we move onto complex invertebrates.  Did you know complex invertebrates are different then simple invertebrates?  Now segmented worms may live in water or land.  Earthworms, leeches, and clam worms are segmented worms.  They all have rings or segments.  Now we move onto arthropods.  Did you know that they are the largest animal group.
