Osama bin Laden

Hey guys and girls there is a guy named Osama bin Laden and if you live in America this is huge.  In 2001 there was a terrorist attack, it took place in the worlds trade center and took out the twin towers.  It killed 3000 people in that event.  Now that he is dead people are celebrating around the world.  People were celebrating outside the White House.  I am glad that he is dead because he is a bad man.  So go USA!!!

Halo Wars Part 1 The Covenant In Battle

Hey I'm here and I'm going to tell you about this game called Halo Wars. This game is all about controlling armies or small groups of either humans or aliens. The alien race is called the "Covenant". Part 1 is me talking about the Covenant. The Covenant is even in battle vs the Humans. The bad part is that the Covenant gets some advantages.  The advantages are they get a giant robot bug-like machine that is called a Scarab. The Scarab is the super unit of the Covenant, they get leader on the ground and the leaders can cause some bad damage. The Arbiter is the leader of the fighting troops of the Elites.q There is an ape-like species of Covenant called Brutes. The Brutes come with Brute shots and grunts. Hold on I am getting a head of my self. Before the game starts you will get to choose between nine choices of leaders There is only six but you can choose random Covenant, random between both teams, and random UNSC or the humans. The three leaders of the Covenant are The Prophets. The Prophets are, The Prophet of Mercy, The Prophet of Truth, and The Prophet of Regret. In Halo two you get to kill one of the Prophets.  He will try to hit you with his Gravity Cannons in his throne. I'm getting off track. So the base that you start out with when the game will have no buildings attached to it yet and you start off with 800 resources. My skill is to make a leader temple then make three warehouses. Then send your scout unit off to gather resources. By the time you do that your leader temple will be built and whatever leader you have it will come out of it. I like The Arbiter so that will be my leader.  The Arbiter opens up new structures that you can decide to make.  The scout trooper is the Ghost, and no not a haunting ghost but a vehicle ghost.  It has built in duel plasma rifles.  Anyways most of your stuff should be completed.  If you press ''A'' (for the Xbox 360) on the center structure which for the start of the game will be called ''Keep'' and so when you press ''A'' there would be a screen that would pop up and there would be some items that would be there and you would use your control stick to target your item that you want to bye. What I mean by bye is the resources act like money.  In one of the corners you will see this machine-like picture and highlight it by rotating the targeting light over on it and it will tell you some information about it on the side.  It will cost 3000 resources and the lightning bolt symbol stands for reactors.  To get the machine (it is called a Scarab) you need 3000 resources, three reactors, and you might need to wait a bit for it to be built.  Okay pretend you got all that stuff and you pressed ''A'' to tell them to start building it.  When it is done it will take a while for it to be destroyed.  So when it is built some enemy forces will probably will be coming.   So go to one of your building spots and make a ''Hall''  (before I said to get the machine I want you to upgrade your base to Citadel so then you can make a Hall)  as soon as you can.  What I would do is that I would make some Grunt Squads.  Well part two is coming so stay tuned.

Old Yeller Blog

Okay so there is this old, ugly, thief of a dog and was named Old Yeller that went up to this kids house named Travis and the night that he did there was meat that was hung outside of his house and when Travis walked out the door and the meat was gone. On the porch was this yeller dog and his stomach was bigger than normal.  There was meat scraps all over the floor, too.  (>>) (>> means fast forward) His Papa (that is what they called him) had gone onto the cattle drive so Travis had to take care of the family.  He had to do all of these chores.  Well later on in the book these two big bulls are yelling at each other  and then they come out of the forest in front of Travis's house and they fight there.  (>>)  Okay so this guy named Bud Searcy comes to their house and he won't leave until he eats at their house but Old Yeller stole some stuff from Buds house.  Bud also brought Lisbeth.  Lisbeth also had some news for Travis.  Lisbeth said that Old Yeller is her dog's husband and Miss Prissy is going to have pups.  (>>)  So a while after Little Arliss was saved by Old Yeller frand said from a bear, this guy came over named Burn Sanderson, and he said that there was a little thing that is a disease floating around that was called hydrophobia.  There is two meanings for hydrophobia. The one that I'm talking about is the rabies one.  Well, to make a long story short Yeller gets hydrophobia and gets shot by Travis because they can't take a chance.

Alligator Snapping Turtle

Hey guys I'm back and I'm going to talk about the Alligator Snapping Turtle.  The Alligator Snapping Turtle is one of the biggest freshwater animal in the world.  They are found in 16 different states!  One of them is Iowa!  Only nesting females will roam the land.  The male is bigger than the female.  Some of them are scavengers.  Do you like them?  Bye!

Golden Chunks

Hey what's up everybody.  For the school assignment we have to talk about gold.  In the picture these are golden nuggets.  Not like Burger King's chicken nuggets or the basketball team the Nuggets.  I'm talking about the chunks of solid rock that was found underground.  The golden chunks of rock or how the prospectors say "nugget"  was found in the 1970s and found in the U.S. and the U.K.(Or United Kingdom ) The gold was taken away from the U.K. in 1999.  Gold comes from deep under the surface.  Of all the metals on Earth there is one that stays shiny...Gold!  If you had gold what would you spend it on?  Please answer when you comment.

The Canadian Pacer

Hey I'm going to talk about the Canadian Pacer.


The Canadian Pacer was brought to America by Samuel Argall in 1616.  The Canadian Pacer was used for pulling things that was a little too heavy for the farmers.  The Canadian breed may well be one of the best kept secrets of the twenty first century.  Canadian Pacers were shipped in a market and sold in great  value.  Today even Canadians are unaware of the breed.  After the war of 1812, the French said they would want some, so the Canadians sold them some. Do you like them?

Facts About James Madison

Hi I'm back and I'm going to talk about the 4th president called James Madison.  He grew up on a plantation called Montpeller in Virgina.   Later in a couple years it would be his home.  He attended the Collage of New Jersey which would become Princeton.  He was a very very good student.  He had three brothers and three sisters.   His dad was a plantation owner and his mom was a planter and lived to be 98 years old.  Well that is all that I want to tell you. My Strange Spring Time Event

My story is that I've gone back in time (sorry I forgot to tell you about how I was chosen to be a test subject for a time machine) and I'm in the 1800's and I'm like 15 almost 16 and I'm the brave knight so enjoy the story.




*Book opens*  Once upon a time a brave knight who feared nothing and was on his way to save the Princess of Augunsville.  He past scorching hot deserts, freezing cold tundras, wet rain forests then he finally reaches the castle guarded by the evil fire breathing dragon.  The knight was strong but smart so he used cool ways to distract the dragon.  In his bag there was a lot of dummies so he used them as bait.  The dragon charged  at the one dummy that he set up at the door so the dragon charged and rammed into the dummy and the door burst into just nothing but pieces of wood and steel.  The good part is that the dragon doesn't have wings.  So as the dragon died the knight ran up to the tallest tower and found the princess waiting for him.  The knight and the princess rode back to the town and after that the knight was married to the princess.

Spiders Pt. 2

 Hey everybody it's Tanner here and in the last blog I finished up part 1, now I'll talk a little more about spiders in part two than part one. There will be parts with tarantulas and movies that involve tarantulas and spiders. OK to start off I'm going to talk about the fishing spider. To tell you it really does fish no lie. It can get tadpoles, small fish, and frogs. When predators come they go under the water. OK tarantulas are bigger than spiders but the tarantulas are like super spiders. They spin silk but not all the time. They usually run up to their prey and eat it there. Now there is a movie that is called arachnophobia. It is about a family that moves to the county and the husband has arachnophobia. But before they move to the county, some bug scientists discover a poisonous tarantula in the jungle.  The tarantula find a spot to go with the people and kill one then send the body to the county and put the the body in it's grave after the tarantula leaves and now we are all caught up now but I don't want to talk any more about but I will describe it.  It is purple and black and one bite you will die,  but that is the General or the leader.   That's enough about describing the General I think.  Back to the facts.  All spiders have these things called exoskeletons.  Exoskeleton means that the skeleton is on the outside.  The tarantulas usually have have little hairs on them and what the Goliath Bird Eater does if it bets scared it will pick them off and throw them at whatever scared it.  Now imagine an adults hand and a Mexican Red Knee Tarantula.  They would be the same size.  All spiders are skilled hunters and they have so many ways to kill their prey.  For instance the green Lynx spider runs it's prey down and the Sydney Trap-Door makes a burrow (burrow means a tube in the ground) ,  the Jumping spider well it jumps on it's prey.  The Daddy-Long-Leg has longer legs than other spiders.  I guess that is how they got their name.  They also hang out in garages.  The Huntsman Spider is big and quick.  They live in Australia.  They don't use webs.  They run their prey down.  I'm running out of stuff to tell you.  Oh and for your information all of this is my knowledge in  my brain.  Did you know the Wolf Spider's brain is smaller than it's eyes?  Funny huh?  In Australia there is this dangerous but cool spider that hunts other spiders.  It is called the White Tail Spider.  It will tap the other spiders web to get the other spiders attention because it thinks it is a insect trapped in it's web.  It gets closer to the White Tail closer, closer and SNAP!  It bites the other spider, turns it's insides into fluids then drinks it.  OK I'm now going to talk about the Black Widow.  I was going to do a separate blog but then I said who cares?
The Black Widow is very poisonous.  So you might no want to get bitten.  Before I go on the reason that this post took so ling is that I started it and after a couple weeks I forgot about it.  Anyways,  it has a red hourglass on its abdomen.  It is all black.  The spider that is more poisonous than the Black Widow, is the White Tail Spider.  The White Tail Spider has some very  bad poisons.   The poisons just make your skin not want to heal.  They live in Australia though.  But they are still dangerous.  So sorry this took so long.  Have a good year!

Alpha Series (Bioshock Big Daddy)

Hey welcome back to my blog.  Today I'm going to talk about this special type of Big Daddy. This Big Daddy is really cool because it can equip itself with the Grenade  Launcher, Shotgun, Machine Gun, and the Drill.  In the campaign, you are an Alpha Series.  The Alpha Series can also use these power-ups called Plasmids.  Plasmids are really good in the multiplayer mode and the single-player mode.  I think Plasmids are most useful in the multiplayer than in the campaign.  Well in the picture you will see a Alpha Series that you shot in the campaign.  That is why the visor is red.  Well if you go to my school I'm going to try to draw a custom Big Daddy.  Well this is the end.

Bouncer (Bioshock Big Daddy)

Hello again and welcome to the blog of the awesome Bouncer Big Daddy.  This Big Daddy is different from the Rosie.  Here is how.  The Bouncer the Drill instead of the Rivet Gun and Launcher.  The Bouncer would be my second favorite Big Daddy.  My first would Subject Sigma.  Subject Sigma is who you get to play as in Minerva's Den.  On Bioshock 2 you could download for 800 Microsoft points.  Subject Sigma also has a laser beam.  He looks awesome.  He looks way better than Subject Delta.  Subject Delta is who you get to play as in the campaign.  Anyways. like the Elite Rosie, the Elite Bouncer also has some differences.  First would be the color on the armor.  The armor color is red.  The weapons are different to.  Instead the regular Big Daddy drill, it has the Harpoon-like Drill.  Nate says he would trade the Rivet Gun for the Drill.  I'm going to disagree with him because the to me the Rivet Gun is better.  The reason that I said that is because it can shoot from a range.  The looks are pretty even because the design on the armor.  Well that is it.  See ya!!

Rosie (Bioshock Big Daddy)

Hey I'm back and  I'm going to talk about the Big Daddy called Rosie.  Well I hope you enjoy the video that I got up there.  It won't talk about him but it is just a little song that I found.  I will talk about him or her whatever you want it to be.  I think it is a boy so I will be saying boy a lot.  I think the Big Daddies are super humans inside diving suits and they found awesome weapons like the Big Daddy Drill.  The Drill is useally found on the Bouncer.   Again I'm not going to talk about him.  The Rosie uses the Rivet Gun.  I think rivets are a nail type bolt of some kind.  If I am wrong type a comment.  In the video you will see the Rosie and the Elite Rosie.  The Elite Rosie has some differences from the regulur Rosie.  The armor is different by the head.

New Years Resolution

My New Years Resolution is to help more around the house.  I don't do a lot of chores because my parents think that my blood sugar will be low.  I want to be more helpful that I was before.  So I want to do more chores. I know it sounds weird but that is what I want to do.  That is my New Years Resolution.

What I got for Christmas

Well the things that I got for Christmas are, the Air Zone Punisher(the Punisher is a toy dart gun), the Stampede ECX-25(this is another dart gun but it is made by the toy gun company called Nerf), the Halo Wars Lego set called Banshee Vs Hawk, then I got the game called Call of Duty Black Ops, then I also got the BIONICLE Skorpio set. Last but not least I got an IPad. This is my first blog on the IPad. WellI know there is more that I got for Christmas I think. Well that's is it.

BIOSHOCK

Yo what's...  never doing that again. It's me and I'm going to talk about BIOSHOCK 1 and 2.  They are video games.  BIOSHOCK is supposed to be a paradise under the sea.  But this kind of power up drug thing gets out of hand and turns people int ghoul-looking freaks. Like their skin get all flabby and the point is the look creepy.  Then before the power up gets out of hand there are these diving under water helping guys called big daddies that look after their little girls called ''Little Sisters'' that look possessed because they have a little needle that they carry around and they're eyes glow yellow.  In BIOSHOCK 2 you get two be a big daddy.  Some weapons that you get to use as a big daddy are The Rivet Gun,  Machine Gun,  Rocket Launcher,  and a big drill on your arm that is pretty cool.  I almost forgot the drug power ups are called Plasmids.  My favorite plasmid is the Electro Bolt.  What it is, is that you shoot lightning out of your hand.  They made a third BIOSHOCK.  Instead of in the water, it is in the air.  I don't get it either.  Well I was just telling you about these games.

The Huntsman Spider

I got another spider for you. Here it is. The Huntsman Spider. It is really fast, it can cover one yard in a second. They live in Australia. They like to hide in cars and old houses. They are also big but harmless to humans. They are my second favorite spider. My first favorite is the Crab Spider but I'm not going to talk about it. Well there is not much more to tell of what I know about this spider.  I don't think that they make webs much because they  run their prey down.  See ya!

Some weird things that I noticed in Black Ops and World At War

Read only if you played these games. OK so I noticed some things in W.a.W. and Black Ops about the zombie mode that you can play. In Black Ops when you are at the main menu your sitting in a chair that you can get out of by rapidly pushing the triggers and you get out and then walk around to a little computer press 'X' to get on it then you type in something in it is like HELP or something like that, then a bio type thing will pop up and I'm not for sure but I think something about zombies but I'm not for sure so I need whoever has Black Ops to check that out if they can. In W.a.W. there are these radios that you can play and they are the inventions that Dr. Maxis and his assistant Edward Richtofen test their teleporter on dead subjects to successfully teleport them some where else but the problem is that the test subjects keep on failing and one teleports but it does not come back and marks it a failure and tests it on his dog that is pregnant. It teleports checks it as a success but it teleports as planned but it comes back as a zombie dog. Wait hold on a second, test #3 is a success but it is also a zombie and it cannot be controlled so they kill it. Back to the zombie dog.  Okay typing ''the zombie dog '' is getting annoying but the real name of the dog is Fluffy, back to the terror. Dr Maxis orders Dr. Edward to open the teleporter's door but he does not want to but before he does his daughter Samantha comes in but Dr. Maxis grabs her then he does it anyway and Dr. Edward runs out the door I think and locks them in and Dr. Edward flips on the teleporter and teleports them somewhere that I don't know where and then then the transmission so I don't know what happens next.. In the last sentence it was a transmission on a radio so I sort of know what happened. In W.a.W. Zombie zombie level Der Reise if you shoot this switch I think, with a Pack-A-Punched gun these things in the garbage around it will glow and float up then disappear and you have to find them. One radio will start off with all these numbers and it will say ''115'' in there and people say that powers the Wonderwaffe DG-2 in World at War zombie mode. There is one more thing that I've seen and heard in some levels. The zombies sometimes say weird things like pizza or Peter and even monkey. Well that's all I got.
